| We began Taste of Heaven Farms in February of 2004. We are located in North East Tennessee about 10 miles south of Rogersville, Tennessee. We are nestled at the edge of Clinch Mountain just south of the Cumberland Mountains. We have found that the possibilities of this beautiful land are as limitless as the unlimited views of our 26 acres. Please visit our “Contact Us� page to find more out on giving us a visit. You and your friends are very welcome at Taste of Heaven Farms! We at present have 10 alpacas. 7 females, 1 stud, 1 unproven male, and 1 gelding... Mr. T who is our babysitter. We have just recently had our fourth cira born on the farm. We have two young females due in April and June of 2006, and will be rebreeding our two Chilean mothers soon. We have had our first shearing expirience this past spring, and through much study and first tries we learned very much. We have three true blacks and found that by leaving between 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of hair, none of them had sunburn on the ends of their hair this summer. We have two yearlings, a males and a female, born last fall that are of my Peruvian Marriott which have some of the softest and tightest crimps to be seen. We hope to show them both in the AOBA Spring 2006 show. We have learned to clean, card, spin and produce through knitting, crochet and felting our own products, which we are hoping to have for sale by Spring of 2006.
